Behavioral Dimensions

Parent Resources at BDI

Parents are also recipients of our services! We offer support to parents to help them manage their child’s behavior more successfully, and teach them how to teach their child new skills. Our staff partner up with parents to teach their child other things that are important to them…being able to take the child to new places in the community, decreasing stereotypic or tantrum behavior that interfere with inclusion in activities the child could learn or enjoy, and being able to play by themselves or with other kids. We also address important skills for daily life, such as toilet training, eating a greater variety of foods, and sleeping in their own bed.
